CHS New Zealand is situated in Mt Maunganui in the vibrant Downtown Mount shopping area. Just around the corner from the busy Port of Tauranga where all the cruise ships dock for the day. We are only a short drive from Tauranga Via the harbour bridge.

CHS is known to be one of the friendliest salons in the area. The salon is a lovely bright place to relax in full of natural light provided by windows down one side.

CHS is a small team of very experienced hairdressers who have a passion for what we do. It is a fun place to visit.

Carol Walker

Carol Walker started hairdressing in the downtown Mount 30 years ago and over this time CHS has trained many apprentices. Carol is proud of the business she has developed over that time and her stylists have a history of staying at CHS.

CHS New Zealand has a separate colour room, we apply our colours in the privacy of our colour room. The colour table is very popular with our clients as they sit in comfort out of sight of the rest of the salon and passers by.

We always have the latest magazines for clients to enjoy while relaxing around the table and have space to spread them out or use a laptop.

CHS New Zealand have a full range of FUSIO DOSE TREATMENTS by Kerastase to make your hair feel and look great. There is one for every type of hair and they are prescribed with your consultation.
